Official Contest Rules
$1,000 WestJet Travel Voucher Giveaway — Filipino Street Festival 2026
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by McPhillips Toyota, located at 2425 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, Manitoba (the “Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Manitoba who have reached the age of majority (18 years or older) in their province or territory of residence as of the date of entry, and who are physically present at the Filipino Street Festival held at Maples Multiplex Grounds, 434 Adsum Dr, Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 22–23, 2026.
Employees, officers, directors, and representatives of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and persons living in the same household, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins when the festival opens on August 22, 2026 and ends when the festival closes on August 23, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries submitted outside the Contest Period are not eligible. The Contest landing page is accessible only on-site at the festival via QR code at the Sponsor’s booth.
4. How to Enter
There are two ways to earn entries:
Base entry (1 entry): Complete the entry form on the Contest landing page. Limit one (1) base entry per person. A valid, working email address is required for winner notification.
Bonus entries (golf game): Play the on-site golf game. Your score earns bonus entries according to the following scale:

Limit one (1) golf attempt per person. The maximum number of bonus entries any participant may earn is three (3). Combined with the base entry, the maximum total number of entries per person is four (4). Bonus entries are added to the participant’s base entry.
5. Odds and Bonus Entry Disclosure
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Because bonus entries increase the number of entries associated with a participant, participants who earn bonus entries through the golf game have a greater chance of winning than participants who submit a base entry only. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
6. Prize
There is one (1) grand prize: a WestJet travel voucher with an approximate retail value of CAD $1,000 (the “Prize”). The Prize is subject to all terms, conditions, and restrictions imposed by WestJet and/or the issuer, including expiry date, blackout dates, transferability, and any other voucher terms. The Prize is awarded “as is,” cannot be exchanged for cash, and is non-transferable except as expressly stated. The Sponsor’s total prize liability under this Contest is one (1) Prize.
7. Winner Selection and Skill-Testing Question
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 3:00pm at McPhillips Toyota.
To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, without mechanical or any other assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, administered [by email / by phone].
Sample skill-testing question: (15 × 3) + 20 − 8 = _____
8. Winner Notification
The selected entrant will be notified using the email address provided at entry. The Sponsor will send up to three (3) notification emails over three (3) business days. If the selected entrant does not respond within that period, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, is found to be ineligible, or declines the Prize, that entrant forfeits the Prize and the Sponsor may select an alternate winner by random draw from the remaining eligible entries, subject to these same conditions. The Sponsor will repeat this process for up to two (2) alternate winners. If neither the originally selected entrant nor either alternate winner successfully claims the Prize, the Prize will not be awarded.
9. Publicity
By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the use of their name and city of residence by the Sponsor for promotional and publicity purposes in connection with the Contest, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest is used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and if applicable and seperatly consented to, for marketing communications from the sponsor. 11. General Conditions
- By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
- The Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, or amend the Contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries, or for any technical failures of any kind.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Sponsor and its representatives are not liable for any damages arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the Prize.
